Fugue, completed for a composition competition, this
piece was recorded in a studio on the South Shore of Boston,
then digitally remastered along with the Messaien and
Ysaye
pieces which can be heard on the Recital tape available at
Recordings. (1979-81).
The theme is based on that of the Duettino for two violins
by Shilakowsky, written more than twenty years before this
piece was conceived. Dreamy, slightly dissonant. Not a
